Election Common Sense Report

 “I am the Lord Thy God. Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.” Common sense tells one that God never intended any diversity in this Commandment. However the election results clearly indicated the American people have put other gods before Him.

 People voted in Obama with compromised reasoning and surely not common sense. There is no debate on abortion, homosexuality, redistribution of wealth, and much more. Regardless of America being a great world leader, Marxists have moved in and made it their home. Citizens were elated and comfortable voting in a secular, socialist, and anti-traditional man to be our leader. 

People of America claim commitment to God, yet their humanist leanings led them, following the election, to weep joyful tears for a man that they knew nothing about. Few paid attention to this man’s background. Obama’s rhetoric, skillfully delivered, implied a person was confused, or mistaken, if they told the truth of his devious history. 

The young like the idea of socialism; what could be better than doing D work, but receiving an A mark. Some young people actually said, “We do not have to worry about putting gas in the car, or paying our mortgage. We hope this will take place very soon.”

95% of blacks and a great percentage of Latinos voted for Obama. Yet this was not considered racist? Many of them knew of his abortion leanings, but denial was used to insist that he would not enforce his views on the nation. Their naivety insists that increasing taxes on the supposed rich promotes prosperity. 

Some blacks said, as did Michele Obama, they now could be proud of America. Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg stated similar sentiments that they could now “finally put down their suitcases.” There was no humbleness in these statements, only entitlement thinking that now has many saying that Universal health care is a right for all.”

People projected god like qualities to a man who smooth talked them into believing he was capable of all things, while they, including many Christians, rejected the teachings of Almighty God. They were right; for this man will do everything he can to reshape this nation. He has the perfect situation. America gave away our Godly heritage years ago and with Congressional backing and a compromised nation, he has the right away. 

Spike Lee said on one of his pre-elections ads that the old America no longer exists, and “Republicans were TV people stuck in the Father Knows Best, Howdy Doody, and Leave It To Beaver series of the past.” I am grateful that we are stuck in the joy of these times. If we allow the enemy from within to destroy our joy then we become a victim.

So what direction do we take now?  It is simple; we must start with the basics, which is common sense. This comes from God’s laws and the laws of nature. 

In 2009, we will work to restore common sense by bringing to the forefront the Ten Commandments and how they relate to political agendas that affect our freedoms. Authority figures, including the clergy, have turned their backs on clarity of right and wrong. Only through the truth can any resemblance of America be saved.

The Light is Dimming

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" (Isaiah 8:20). The light is dim in America. People have lost their way. But there was one glimmer of hope, three states voted against same-sex marriage. 

California homosexuals, however, began a movement to fight the election outcome, and it spread throughout America. The nation’s shining light dimmed further for other countries that look to us for hope, but it is difficult to even save ourselves.

The judicial system has become another new god, ignoring the Commandment, “ I am the Lord Thy God and thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Some judges abandon the laws of God, as well as Constitutional law, and replace them with their own strategic set of rights and wrongs.

The supposed “truth” has now become the loud screeching from the homosexuals as they proclaim that traditionalists are hateful people and that same-sex marriage is a civil right. Their anger for losing Proposition 8 is thrust at peaceful individuals and businesses that voted for it.

Homosexuals and supporters show no regard for their own rule of tolerance. It is bad enough that the aggressive homosexual movement has taken on traditional voters by violence, but now many of our representatives have joined it to counter the Initiative that marriage is to be between one man and one woman.

How could it be any other way? When the word of God is pushed aside and man takes over, anything goes. But giving approval of homosexual marriage is not a loving act, for it has dangerous consequences for homosexuals, the family unit, and our country’s future.

 Marxists use homosexuals for their cause of transformation, and classifying them as an “oppressed” group supports the justification for our government to bail them out by simply changing, or reinterpreting the law. Legislating from the bench is now acceptable.  

We must be clear on the reality of the outcome of Proposition 8.  No matter the conclusion of the Court, homosexuals that practice the lifestyle will never achieve peace or normality. We are always the winners, for truth shall prevail. 

The act can never be okay in God’s eyes or according to nature’s laws, and to pretend for a purpose of normality that same-sex marriage is good for America or it’s children, is just not common sense.

The light may dim, but total darkness shall not prevail in America, for there will always be people who boldly speak the truth. Perhaps this time it will be the California Supreme Court?
